Sustainment of our Multi-Partner Project Relationships

Goal

In order to ensure streamlined coordination with with partners and stakeholders, CMLC sustains steering committees to guide the delivery of our major projects.

Result

CMLC sustained steering committees on the BMO Centre expansion, 17th Avenue SE Extension and Victoria Park/Stampede Station Rebuild, Platform Innovation Centre & Parkade, and the Arts Commons and Olympic Plaza Transformation projects.

Programming Partners

We select diverse partners who make the Rivers District a welcoming destination for all. CMLC works with 65+ partners a year to deliver programs that support the city’s creative economy and make every Calgary community comfortable in the Rivers District. Among many, many others: Pride Calgary, Drift Out West Fly Fishing, Chinook Blast, National Music Centre, Calgary Public Library, Cousins Skateboard Community, carya, Stagehand, Calgary Surge, Colour the Trails, Ultimate Para-Sport Association, Jing Wo Cultural Association and more.

Mid-project and 
post-project surveys to assess performance.

Giving partners opportunities to periodically assess our performance helps us continuously improve and apply those learnings into our future projects. CMLC conducted a mid-project and post-completion surveys for the Platform Innovation Centre & Parkade, East Village Place and BMO Centre expansion.
